The Flying Hillbillies RC Club sends a thank you to all who attended and supported the Mountain State Fly In on June 14th. The threat of rain never materialized in Winfield. Other then overcast, it turned out to be an excellent day for flying. Donations to the raffle and food netted the club just over $400.00.
The grand prize raffle drawing winner of the Hangar 9, P-47 Thunderbolt (.60-1.00 ) ARF was Chuck Harper from Poca, WV.
Very special thanks to Chuck and Sherry Willey of West Virginia Hobbies in Teays Valley for donating the grand prize and supporting our club.
Special thanks also to Mr. & Mrs. Bennie Warden and Jim Mynes for providing the hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshments.
