Directions to Field
Located along the beautiful Kanawha River on Route 35 between the John Amos power plant and Winfield.
Directions to the field - from the I-64 (St. Albans) Exit 44, travel down the exit ramp to the stop light on Route 35. Turn left at the traffic signal and travel north on Route 35 toward Winfield. Follow the highway exactly 5.7 miles. You will pass by John Amos Power Plant. When you have traveled 5.7 miles, look for the“Wetlands of Winfield” sign marking the turn off to right on the gravel road. If gate is unlocked, guests are welcome to come in to observe members flying. Sunday afternoon is the most likely day you may find activity at the field.
Directions from the I-64 (Teays Valley) Exit 39, take Route 34 towards Winfield. At intersection of Route 34 and Route 35 turn right at light. Follow Route 35 until you see the "Wetlands of Winfield" sign on left.
